The Bare Hands Doctor - Master Tim Wong

Tim Wong is a Master of Chinese Massotherapy (Tui-Na).  He began studying Tui-Na in the late 1960s in his native Hong Kong where he learned tai-chi and qi-gong.

In the late 1980s he began his practice in London, England where eventually he had two private clinics and a massage school.  His private clients have included the actors Richard E. Grant, Cate Blanchett, Saskia Reeves, and Glenn Close.  He has also worked with film companies, providing Tui-Na massage to cast and crew on location.  Similarly, he provides on-site massage to company staff, supporting businesses in their efforts to promote employee health and wellbeing.  In addition, Master Wong has been a guest lecturer at The Crossings in Austin, Texas and at The Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York.  Since 2006, he has been practicing in Dallas, Texas.

After many years' experience of treating people with a variety of different conditions, Master Wong has developed his own unique technique to treat the most serious and painful physical conditions. He also formulated a Body Maintenance Program which is designed to promote and maintain a healthy body.  The program is aimed at both young and old alike, and is ideal for those who take either too little or too much exercise.

In addition to his private practice, Master Wong also trains both professional and non-professional masseurs in the theory and practice of Tui-Na.  For professionals, he offers advanced education in bodywork.  He holds seminars to groups interested in learning more about the principles, methods, and efficacy of Chinese Massotherapy.  Master Wong also teaches Tai-Chi and Qi-Gong.
