Important Facts about the Treatment

This type of treatment is considered by the Chinese to be the safest and most effective forms of treatment. It has no known side effects. However, there is no guarantee that this treatment will cure any condition due to the fact that different people respond in different ways - an individual's lifestyle and the work they do may also play a part in how he or she responds to treatment. Besides, your body would have little or no benefit at all from the treatment if you are under stress, nervous, feeling embarrassed,   tense or unable to relax. In order to achieve the best results, it is advised that you learn how to relax and follow the recommended course and duration of treatment. More often, sports and exercise are not recommended when undergoing a course of treatment.

When undergoing treatment, clothing is optional. Some people prefer to receive treatment while they are fully or partly dressed, or while they are completely undressed. Therefore, you can choose one of the following: (1) fully clothed; (2) partly clothed (i.e. keeping your underwear on); or (3) completely undressed. If you choose (2) or (3) there will be a sheet, towels, or a blanket to cover you during treatment. However, during manipulation and while changing position of the body, there may be a moment when part of your body becomes exposed. If this causes you stress, you should choose option (1), otherwise Master Wong accepts no responsibility for any stress caused by exposure during treatment.

How often do you need treatment?

Most conditions, whether chronic or acute, will require a course of treatment lasting from 5 to 10 sessions. In some cases, a second course of treatment may be required. The frequency of the sessions - from every other day, to twice a week or once a week - depends on the problem itself. More often, chronic problems take longer to improve while acute problems will show immediate benefit.  After a condition has been resolved through treatment, regular maintenance treatment is recommended in order to prevent a recurrence and to strengthen the body in general.
